For many parents & students, the right college environment is the priority. While there are many factors that go into choosing the right college, environment might be the most important. Parents and students who are concerned with an environment that reflects their beliefs and values should have options ready to them to make sure college is worth it. For Christian families, their focus on a school that has a mission & values that mirrors theirs is paramount. Thankfully, in PA, there are schools that allow for this. That’s why I felt it important to provide a list of Christian-focused colleges in PA.
To be clear, this is not an all-encompassing list. I personally did not see to it that each school will meet every need of every Christian family. But I did qualify these schools by researching the school, and seeing to it that their mission & core values are:
a) clearly stated
b) in line with Christian values
c) require some level of due diligence on the part of the student to adhere to them.
There are numerous other schools in PA that were founded by a religious group and/or have some type of affiliation with a Christian background. But these schools made it apparent on their website & in their mission statements, which I have linked to.
